The University of East London (UeL) serves over 13,500 students and offers a wide variety of full, part-time and sandwich courses leading to certificates, diplomas, undergraduate and postgraduate degrees and a range of professional qualifications in accountancy, business, law, engineering, health sciences, design and architecture. Computer Access has worked mainly with UeL's Business Development Centre in Duncan House, Stratford. The Centre comprises a 5,000 sq.ft Conference Centre together with Internet and Open-Learning Centres, Cyber-Cafe, Restaurant and a host of other facilities. The Bee Centre was responsible for Newham's first video based distance learning program which used Newham's broadband extranet to provide learning material to Council staff at their office desks. UeL's involvement with Computer Access's Enhancing Communications project helped build on this experience.
